Minutes of July 16, 2018

Attendees:

Mark Smith (President/Board), Kay Waitman (Vice-President/Board), Barry Yabyabin (Secretary/Board), and Annie Vigil (Homeowner)

Candice Haywood represented Ben Marsh & Associates Inc.

Call to Order:

The meeting was called to order at 6:30 PM.

Quorum:

Quorum was established with 3 out of 4 board members present.

Minutes:

Kay Waitman moved to approve the minutes of the April 23rd Board Meeting. Mark Smith seconded the motion. Motion carried. Kay Waitman moved to approve the minutes of the May 31st Board meeting. Barry Yabyabin seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Financial Report:

David Riley is not present. Financial Report will be considered at next meeting.

Grounds Report/ACC Report:

Management notes that there is another fence leaning and in need of repair. A letter was sent out. The items from the previous meeting have been addressed. Kay Waitman reports that’s she did some work to the flower beds and recruited a volunteer to help with watering.

Manager’s Report:

The property with the hole in the fence will get an additional letter sent requesting compliance by the end of the month or the fence will be repaired and the owner’s account billed. Management will be sending drive by reports each Monday for the prior week.

New Business:

The crime problem in the community is a cause for concern. Packages have been stolen from doors and cars have been gone through. Mark would like everyone to brainstorm some ideas on increasing community awareness and crime prevention to be discussed at the next meeting.

Notice of meetings should be posted on Facebook each month and a special mention should be made to encourage owners to come to the August meeting to discusses prevention ideas.

Adjournment:

Hearing no further business Mark Smith moved to adjourn the meeting. Barry Yabyabin seconded the motion. Meeting was adjourned at 7:02 PM.

Next Meeting:

The next meeting will be held August 13, 2018 at 6:30 PM at Mark Smith’s home.
