Minutes of 16 March 2015
Randy Bañez (President/Board), Mark Smith (Vice President/Board) (Treasurer/Board), Yannick Hodgin (Secretary/Board),Mike Bridges (Treasurer/Board/ACC Chairman), Kay Waitman(Board Member), and David Riley (Accountant)
Candice Haywood (present telephonically) represented Ben Marsh & Associates Inc.
Call to Order:
The meeting was called to order at 6:30 PM.
Quorum was established with 5 out of 5 Board members present.
Mike Bridges moved to approve the Agenda. Mark Smith seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Approval of Minutes:
The minutes of the 16 February 2015 meeting were reviewed. Mark Smith moved to approve the minutes. Mike Bridges seconded the motion. Motion carried.
David Riley presented the financial reports for February 2015.
Signs: Mike Bridges made an inspection of the four signs in the common area. The signs and posts are structurally sound and show no signs of rot. The signs could use a sanding and painting to refresh them. It is not necessary at this time to replace them.
Architectural Committee Report (ACC):
The Owner of 3112 contacted Management and requested that the fine charged to their account for the trailer parked for over a week in their driveway be removed. The Owner stated that the trailer contained flooring for work that was being done inside the home. The Board approves forgiving the fine.
Management contacted Thee Fence Man to arrange maintenance of the 100th Ave fence. Thee Fence Man will make an inspection in May and make the needed repairs. Management also contacted contractors to provide estimates on cleaning and painting the fence. Mike Bridges will be the point of contact to make the final arrangements on this project. Letters should be sent out to all the Owners along 100th Ave. letting them know that work will be done on the fence this summer and that they should relocate any personal belongings. Once the work is scheduled letters will be sent out in advance to all Owners along 100th Ave providing them with the exact date of the work.
Gifts were delivered to five new Owners.
House Rules: Tabled
Spring Newsletter: Randy Bañez will be compiling the Spring newsletter. A note will be included in the newsletter regarding the ice rinks that have been in backyards all over the neighborhood as these are in violation of the Association's nuisance policies. A note will also be placed on the website.
There are no newsletters posted on the website since the 2013 newsletter. Management will resend copies of the newsletters to the webmaster.
The next meeting will be the 20 April 2015 6:30 PM at 3041 Admiralty Bay Drive.
Hearing no further business the meeting was adjourned at 6:55 PM.
